Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival in Cripple Creek, we had to wait nearly an hour for our room to be ready, which was quite inconvenient. The room we were initially given had noticeable 'hair dye' stains on the carpet and wall, prompting a late-night move to a different room. Unfortunately, the rooms had a strong unpleasant odor that even transferred to our clothes after just one day.
The hotel is situated at a high location offering breathtaking views but the surrounding area did not look too appealing. It is close to casinos at a reasonable price. The rooms could use some updating in terms of better lighting but had useful amenities like a microwave, fridge, and old HVAC. The service was limited but the staff was accommodating. The dining experience is not at the property but at the casino which offers good value. Free shuttle service is a nice addition to the facilities.
The hotel is situated on top of Cripple Creek, offering an awesome location close to the casino and Joe's restaurant at the Wildwood casino. The rooms were clean and comfortable, while the service was friendly and helpful, making me consider staying here again. However, the strong smell of marijuana around the hotel was a major concern with my son, and the dirt road leading to the hilltop was not ideal.
